We have some great playlists for you to discover Mute music on:
New From Mute – listen to the latest releases from Mute here.
#MUTEMIXTAPE – specially curated theme each month or selected artist takeover here.
Fireside Favourites – brand new playlist curated by the Mute staff and updated monthly, stretching beyond Mute’s catalogue here.
Mute on Film – does what it says on the tin here.
We love to receive your demos. Please don’t send too much material to begin with, 3 or 4 of your best tracks is a great start. We’re not able to reply individually to everyone, but we can assure you that all demos are reviewed and if we like what we hear we’ll be in touch.
If you are submitting a demo, please do so by email and send no more than 4 streaming links where your music can be heard. We are unable to accept attachments so please do not send mp3′s or any other files, as they will not be listened to. Send your submission to:
demos@mute.com
We no longer accept demos submitted by post.
Please contact zoe.miller@zopfpr.com and eve.norman@mute.com for enquiries and sally@mute.com for US press.
If you are in the UK writing for a publication based outside the UK (print or web), please send a note from your editor (or relevant authority) vouching your accreditation.
Mute is unable to provide guest list places or back stage passes for any live dates. Sorry.
We’re very sorry, but we’re not able to help with requests for signed items or autographs. We get a huge volume of requests every day and it’s not practical for us to arrange this.
Thank you for your interest in working at Mute. All job vacancies are advertised here and usually on musicweek.com.
Please only send your CV to us if you’re applying for an advertised vacancy. Due to the high number of unsolicited CVs we receive daily we are unable to keep these on file and will only review CVs sent in application for an advertised post.
We would love to be able to assist with all requests for placements at Mute, unfortunately we get so many applications that it just isn’t possible. Unless you see a placement advertised on this site please assume that our quota is full for the year.
